Odisha FC are in talks with 34 year old spanish forward Jonathan Pereira Rodriguez according to our sources. The Juggernauts have already agreed terms with ISL experienced stars like Victor Mongil and Igor Angulo and are also said to be in advanced talks with Javi Hernandez who recently parted ways with Atk Mohun Bagan.
Jonathan Pereira is a versatile forward who can play as a winger, striker and also as an attacking midfielder. The former Villareal academy graduate has experience in playing for La liga clubs like Villareal, Betis , Valladoid etc. He has also piled his trade in top spanish clubs like Racing Santander and Rayo Vallacano.
Jonathan is a top athlete and his key trait is his sheer pace which can be utilised on the wings. He last played for Gimnastic who play in the spanish Primera División RFEF – Group 2.
If Odisha FC manage to pull of this deal, it will be huge boost to thier attacking options.
