After a dim period in his career with ATKMB followed by an injury, Joby Justin the Striker from Valiyathura Trivandrum, Kerala has decided to join Chennayin FC on a two year deal to get his career back on track.
Joby being a perfect number nine was scouted by East Bengal while he lead KSEB to the Kerala Premier League triumph during the 2016/17 season. During his first season with the kolkata giants he struggled for game time but the scenarios changed in the next season as the keralite scored 11 goals to become the Indian Top Scorer in the I league. That performance gave him a shot a t the national team.
His career took a u turn after that when he joined ATK Mohun Bagan (Then ATK) . The player struggled for game time and was often being brought as a substitute during the last minutes of the game. Joby lost the entirety of the 2020/21 season due to an ACL injury.
Moving the past away with his new club Joby can make a great comeback and can even manage to represent the blue tigers and prove everyone that he is one of the most talented srikers in India.
